End my journey
Alone in a train
i was chugging alone nicely
across the mountains
and across the valleys
carefree
with nothing to worry
i was making my way
one station at a time
stopping once in a while
at a land unknown
i ventured to explore
only to come back running
into this massive metal shell
that is now my home (temporarily)
as usual, the train rolled by
from the station from where you got in
riding all alone
i noticed you as came inside
silently and steadly
the train took an alternate route
into a land that i knew once
a land i was once part of
a land that is now far far away
in the middle of the night
i step out
into this long lost land
or so i thought
step by step
fear all over the face
i make my way towards you
i wait in anticipation
i wait to hold your hand
and walk across this "fertile" land
i wait to hold your hand
i wait to travel into this land
i wait to end my journey
end my journey
with you!

step by step
fear all over the face
i make my towards you
hold your hand
and walk together
into this setting sun
to end my journey
i wait,
only to be jolted back to reality
by the thundering whistle of the train
only to realize i was dreaming all the while
with my journey not even started
i am dreaming to end my journey

note: there are a lot of "empty" lines in here. some have been already mentioned in other poems, hence i didnt feel the need to mention them again in this. So, yes it will feel "empty/meaningless".
